Hello, I’m Melanie, an environmental microbiologist turned writer due to my journey with Long Covid and leukaemia. Residing on the lands of the Djiringanj people in New South Wales, I began writing poetry and my first novel, The Disappearance of Joey Rose, while navigating my health challenges.
